Tikka
Our girl, Tikka, was from your Cassie/Red litter born June 10th, 2015. We can't believe she is already 2! We can't express in words what a delight she has been for us. She is loyal, intelligent, and so very fun!
We sent her to upland bird school when she was 11 months old, and did outstanding! The trainer had 5 other dogs, and he reported to us that she was way ahead of the rest of the dogs, and the most birdie dog he had seen in a long time. She proved herself when we took her Pheasant hunting to Wyoming. She retrieved to us every time and stayed so focused.
If we decide to get a companion for Tikka, it will most definitely be from your home/kennel, which is an awesome place!

Ripley and Tugger

We could not be happier with our Legacy Labradors!!! Our female Ripley is 2 now, and has been the easiest dog to train and has a drive for hunting, with a stable point that is outstanding. Her first trip to North Dakota this season was a testament to her breeding- she absolutely crushed wild pheasants and hunted hard until the clock ran out day 3. Our new male Tugger (Tug) is proving to be as trainable - can sit and almost stay at 9 weeks and will retrieve anything smaller than him. These dogs will get to hunt, but need to be adaptable to the many things we do - bike, hike, fish from boat and behave indoors- they do, we love everything about them! Maddie and Bea
Thank you Rust family for bringing these two beautiful girls into my life! We just celebrated Maddie’s 1st birthday (Callie x Mac 2019) and Bea will be 5 in a few weeks (Murphy x Red 2015). They both take after their fathers in appearance and have very different personalities that compliment each other perfectly. All the same, they are both energetic, goofy, loyal, and incredibly affectionate. These girls are always together for naps and play time. I couldn’t be happier with my pups and I have your family to thank.

Snow
We received our sweet ball of fluffy reddish-yellow fur in late November a few years ago from the Rust family and have been in love ever since!! Affectionately named "Snow", our lab puppy has been a bundle of joy, energy, and enthusiasm in our family.
She loves to fetch and will do so tirelessly. She has been excellent around children as well as other animals including cats, goats, horses, and chickens. Snow is an exceptional dog, highly obedient, and the perfect combination of protector, playmate, and companion. Bright, intelligent, and eager to please, Snow has been a well-loved addition to our family! - Kristi K.

Rosie
Rosie has an excellent natural instinct as a hunter and a retriever and is a very smart dog. It took only a few weeks to get her kennel and potty trained. She loves our training sessions and I usually tire out before she does. She is a retrieving machine! She has been retrieving pigeons regularly and has a very soft mouth on the retrieve. Rosie is also an excellent family dog. She is gentle around the kids, and she loves to get her belly rubbed. We have zero complaints and would love to get another dog from this litter in the future. -Jason B.

Bea
On Valentine's day 2016 we brought home our little red puppy Beatrice, and she has changed our lives in so many unexpected but beautiful ways. This wild, crazy, energetic little girl has taught me so much patience but her gentle signs of affection, her unwavering loyalty, and her always present wagging tail has made my heart fuller than I ever thought it could be.
I can't imagine life without her. She isn't afraid of anything. She loves the rain, the snow, and swimming in the river. She plays fetch like it's going out of style. She's smart, obedient and catches on quick. She loves to cuddle and lick our faces in the morning. Nothing makes her happier than when one of her people comes home. Her entire body wiggles with excitement. Bea is more than a dog. She's a member of our family. She's my baby and best friend. She's an amazing constant in life and I couldn't be more pleased with her. -Rachel P.
